Immature bird

I couldn't make my mind up if this immature bird is a duck or goose. What do you think?

It's a beautiful shot you captured here, with the wings wide open, skimming the water with his beak. Great colouring on the neck.

As for goose or duck - I have absolutely no idea. If I had to bet on it, I would probably go for a duck; but it really is a flying guess. Hopefully someone comes up with a more knowledgeable reply.
