We finished NY day walk at Upton to see how high the floods had risen. Well, I think the seating areas might have to be moved, unless you're wearing a wetsuit. The towns flood barriers are working well. Just not for the people just outside the barriers. Happy New Year everyone.
@blueberry1222 We've had a lot of rain but just when you think it's easing it floods again. The water from the Welsh hills takes about two days to arrive. Happy New Year to you too.
Happy New Year Cliff! I think we are heading for a major flood and likely to be marooned as we were in 2007. We still have all that water coming down from Wales. A good image of the swollen river and Pepperpot!
