Eating for Health

I have been reading a lot about plant-based eating since my sister started a couple of years ago to lower her blood pressure. It did not take long for her to be free of medication. While I do not have any medical issues, I decided to give it a try to avoid any problems in the future. :)
You will feel SO much better! We try to eat like that as much as possible. Lots of salads and soups ;)

@sitiodown As of today, I have already started to feel some differences in my body. :) I was a daily Starbucks coffee drinker and I thought for sure I would have caffeine withdrawals, but I haven't. I'm happy for that! The best thing is I don't feel weighed-down after eating, and I don't feel deprived or hungry.

You'll find you can eat as much if not more if you stay away from processed foods, sugary and salty things. keep plenty of fruits around for that quick hunger satisfier. I'm glad you've already noticed 'feeling lighter ~ more energetic' ~ that'll encourage you to continue :)

@sitiodown For sure! I have read so much about how sugar not only affects your insides, but it doesn't do any good for your skin either. Of course, we both know the dangers of too much salt. Oh, it already has! :)
