Day 4 of 100 Happy Days 2015 - Today is the end of my 6th week of a healthy lifestyle that works for me, and I am so proud of my progress thus far!

On Sunday evenings, I meal prep for the next 3 days... having my breakfast and lunch ready to eat makes me a happy person! I don't have any excuse to get off track or any temptation to spend money eating out. Of course if I did eat out, I would use the tools that I have learned the past 6 weeks when choosing food from a menu.
Having it ready is a good plan

These are foods I eat regularly as well ~ I love that Fage ~ my son turned me on to that just in the last year.

@sitiodown thank you Tari! It really has :) I tried a few other Greek yogurts and found the Fage to be less watery than the others and it has a smoother taste

Fabulous. We do this a lot, too. I will cook a big pot of quinoa or turkey burger and put it into individual servings in the freezer, ready to go. Makes eating healthy a lot easier.

Great shot, I like to meal plan for the week too. I now clip the meal plan to the fridge door (since starting slimming world) it's working so far and also the family can look and know what's for dinner :-)

@bizziebeeme Thank you! Meal prep is essential to keep me on track. I read about you starting slimming world ~ do you do weekly weigh-ins? My daughter has joined in, but my grandson and son-in-law are taking baby steps. Not that they need to lose weight, but they both need healthier options.

@cndglnn yes I do at the moment, but as I"ve only 8lbs to reach goal. I have enough determination on my own to get there so may stop soon but I joined as my mum had and I quite like the sound of it to get me eating a little healthier than I was
