I spent 2 hours today with a professional photographer in France, Mulhouse.
He showed me how to use my Nikon....
This shot is to illustrate the word "overexposed", but I really love it !
This merry-go-round ( carrousel in French) was lovely, full of colors, as the little houses besides .
Now "vitesse, diaphragme, sensibilité, ouverture, balance des blancs, déclencheur, exposition...and so on" don't sound like swearwords ! (Now I've learnt those words in french I have to translate everything in english as most of the time everything is written in english ....)
Oooh great job of it... exposure compensation or longer shutter speed? I have really started to fall in love with exposure compensation as that added "control" over a shot!
@ozziehoffy long shutter speed (1.3s) and and 22 for the aperture, but I ve "satured" a bit to reenforce the colors, thanks for the lovely "great job" ;)) @shanne thanks Shanne, sure it is not too difficult :))
@darsphotos thanks Darlene, this photographer was very kind and patient... @marlboromaam thanks a lot Maggie...I'm learning and I'm trying to use my manual settings more often ... :)
Beautiful image! I'd never have thought to deliberately over expose, so a real discovery to experiment with. Perfect idea to saturate the colours, the result is wonderful :)
@mavibo thanks Mark, usually I do that on my computer, (processing/editing) after , but I wanted to learn to do that with my manual settings.
I think the result is the same BUT I have to say I'm so proud to have chosen my settings and have the result I wanted.... ;)
@bardejov yes, I think I will try again....;) @angeliquenordal thanks Angelique ;) @copperheadglass 2 hours were not enough.... :( but I've learnt 2-3 things :) @parisouailleurs j'ai beaucoup aimé, mais c'est passé si vite ! J'en veux encore !!! Merci Hélène :)
@shanne thanks Shanne, sure it is not too difficult :))
