Switzerland is a country of mountains and the number of tunnels is absolutely amazing (for such a small country) : 1281 !
It includes tunnels for cars, trains, cables...
The most famous and the longest is the "Gothard" .
So, when you drive in Switzerland this view is very frequent...
PS : I swear I was not driving !
I tried doing this in the Mont Blanc tunnel using my original p&s camera and it was quite a blur. My brother and I got told off by a guard for turning around to take a photo of the tunnel entrance. All part of the adventure.
@dulciknit thans a lot for the fav, hope you can come back ;) @sheliwithani what a story ! Something similar happened to me while I was shooting a beautiful door in London and I didn't realize a bank was just besides....the guards reminded me,not very kindly....I was so scared .... ;)) @allisonrap thanks a lot for the Fav Allisson, very pleased :)) @bdb3471 thank you very very much for the fav Brian, so proud ;)
@cocobella went to the Oprra in Avenches to see Aida. I said to my cousin it was how imagined France would always be, as everyone was so friendly, the buildings so beautiful and dinner and wine in the rose garden perfect. Of course the mountains and Jungfraujoch ate wonderful too
@peterdegraaff Switzerland is a pleasant country to live in, the quality of life is really great, safe and secure, clean.... and people are enjoying this situation, you can see that majority of people aren't unhappy ! (I hope you have tasted the old gruyere with little nuggets of salt....delicious ! ).
I think it's a little bit different in France ( I'm French), others problems....
