We are very lucky : Basel and suburbia count more than 40 museums (Art, toys, cars, history, Tinguely...) so we have all kind of very interesting exhibitions during the year.
Last one we have been was the Koons exhibition in the Beyeler foundation, an amazing museum, building + garden.
My girls enjoyed the work of that crazy pop guy !
I love too !
Stunning capture. Love the contrast thats created here. The natural feel of the landscape, the ease of repose of your daughters relaxing against the vibrancy and electrified feeling of the sculpture.
@glendq very joyful piece of art ! @svt on a tendance à en abuser, les filles frôlent parfois l'overdose! ;) @sugarmuser the name is the "flower balloon" @pizzaboy thanks Mick @marieooi thanks a lot Marie @losthorizon thank you Beau, happy you like it, I think it was the perfect place to put this "flower balloon", in the middle of the water with the reflection... @stefun ce n'est pas gonflable, c'est de l'inox ! Ces sculptures sont incroyables, la brillance, l'éclat, les couleurs....si tu as le temps : http://www.christies.com/features/jeff-koons-balloon-flower-blue-1094-3.aspx @gerry thanks a lot Gerry :) @jenniferruge sometimes museum can be boring but Koons is pop, his creations are colorful and there's a lot of childhood spirit in them, so they really enjoyed !
@copperheadglass thanks Meredith, I have the same shot without anybody around, it's very beautiful : this vivid blue in the nature, but you're right a good sculpture has to have spectators ! ;)
@marlboromaam thanks a lot Maggie the sculpture seems floating.... @alisonp thanks for the compliments Alison @kerristephens thanks for the kind words Kerri @meagang thanks Meagan :) @palusami thank you Tanya for stopping by and comment ;)
@rhos you will love it !
