Today we have decided to go for a ride at Dove lake, Cradle mountain, Tasmania, Australia.
Unfortunaly the weather was a nightmare : strong rain, storm.... We were happy to be back at the hotel, totally wet !
Now I'm having a glass of wine and a plate of tasmanian cheeses in front of the fireplace....

Beautiful shot. There it is - that unpredictable weather. I once hiked the Overland track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Claire in Mid December, and we had tons of snow. Go figure.
@terryvet92 would have love to meet you too, but unfortunaly we'll be arriving very late at the Melbourne airport and will leave very early in the morning to the red center, our trip looks a little bit like a marathon ;) no matter the weather...in Switzerland temperatures were about minus 5 when we left, but after Tasmania I want to see the sun ;) !!!
@stuckinoz I saw photo of Cradle mountain with the snow at the hotel, it looks really cold but so beautiful ! Lucky you, my husband would love to come back to see that !(our hotel is the Cradle Mountain chateau : they have a fantastic exhibition of Australian/Tasmanian photographers)
@cocobella You'll get plenty of sun where you are going. It will be an extreme change as the weather will likely be VERY hot. Enjoy your trip. it's a beautiful country. I love it here though I also loved France and Switzerland!
