Today we had our traditional Christmas luncheon with friends, i didn't miss any of them since 8 years, and as every year we had a lot of fun.
Same restaurant every year, love that place, it's an old factory, and the decorations are decadent ! It's sparkling and shining.....
Same rules every year : everybody brings a present (value : 30-40 chf ) and one of us has to open what she wants...the one after has the choice to open a new one or to steal the one that has been already opened if she likes it.....after the 3rd person and one glass of wine, it's starting to be like in a "souk"......some trying to hide their present they like other trying to steal it....
So i've stolen the present of one of my friend, a beautiful-smelling-good-candle and I've managed to keep it.
I brought a Chanel lipstick that had been stolen 2 times.
Funny lunch, we try to find original presents but this year it was very girly ....
What fun! We have that here, too, and call it a 'Yankee swap'. It does manage to provide a few laughs and silliness. Too bad about the Chanel lipstick...
