The "dress" my daughter is doing looks more like a tee-shirt than a dress to me and she has to present her project on the 23 of January...i'm feeling stressed for her....but she doesn't...
that is one of my frustration, I want to be a fashion designer ... but I dnt know how to sew, I am also a BIG fan of Project Runway, I never missed an episode of this, and that metal top is sooo awesome!
Very nice composition for this shot. Looks very promising, Corinne. Hope you show us the final product. I know what you mean about stress for the children's projects... We used to call my son "Mr. P" for procrastination; fortunately now he is so responsible.
@gavincci If you don't know to sew, that's the option Jaydee ! My daughter had been inspired by the work of Paco Rabanne (half Spanish/half French). In his early career he was a jewelry designer, and worked metal and he was the first to dare doing dresses with tiny pieces of metal (it was terribly heavy !) . He is still designing and his last collections are fabulous (especially the winter 2014)
@anazad511 I think we have a "Miss Procrastination" too at home, Her leitmotiv is "it's ok Mum, don't worry...."....she can be very organized but also so messy !
I hope she will become like your son !
i will post a photo of the dress and my daughter Inside ;)....or if it's too short her younger sister will wear it ;)
oh you should watch project runway series, theyre doing this unconventional challenge ! with the use of metals/ flowers, veggies/candies ..... its Bizarre!
@gavincci I just checked because I didn't know...looks very interesting.....i know what will be my programs with my daughters tonight ! thanks for sharing :)
Oh goodness the 23rd will be here before you know it but I have a feeling she will get it done. It is amazing how far she has come and looking back at the first detailed shot, I am most impressed all over again with what she is doing. Will she model it?
I like the composition! And of course I admire talents of your daughter!!! Wonderful creation, can't wait to see it! I guess as a tunic to jeans it would look also cool! ;)
I hope she will become like your son !
