We have received news from our canton asking us to register an apps to follow some instructions about our quarantine.
So our “Covid-girl” Léa happily doesn’t show more symptoms than a cold, we’ve isolated her on the third floor of the house in her bedroom and she’s got her own bathroom and a terrasse , I deliver her meal in front of her door and she eats alone.
When she has finished our protocole is : she comes Masked down to the kitchen when we are not around with all her stuff on a tray, put everything in the wash machine et use the désinfection product to clean what she has touch .... then she goes back to her room !
For us : we are not allowed to have our covid test until we don’t have any symptoms, so we have been asked to stay at home until next Monday and have to take our temperature twice a day, the health district of our canton is going to call us twice a day to control we are at home and ask how it goes ....
We had to cancel our next appointments...
Alix was supposed to leave for London for the university , we had to change the flight ( and she is going to have another quarantine there (🥳)
Mad year .... but I’m not complaining , news are always so sad everywhere ....
Oh no! Hope Lea's symptoms remain mild. Sounds like you're doing a good job of following quarantine protocol, I'm impressed that someone is calling you. Don't think that would happen in the States. Hope the rest of you stay clear and test negative. Hang in there!
@phil_howcroft I’m not a hero 😉, that’s the normal procedure we have to follow, honestly we are blessed to be in a country where the medical services are top, and bless to be in good health... so I hope no complication in the future ...thanks for the kind words Phil
@margonaut thank you Margaux, as I wrote to Phil, Switzerland is taking good care of its “infected” and family, plus the medical cares are really good, so we are very lucky compared to some other countries , now we just have to wait ...
