Let’s talk about Corinne.

That is the tittle I’ve decided for my next collage.
Lately I’ve read a book of Harlan Coben “intimidation” a man Adam, looks for his wife called Corinne.
I was surprised by the name of the (missing) heroine , first because it’s my name and it’s always weird and fun to read your name and second because in France it’s not a very “fashionable” name ... and third I’ve noticed that in French movies or French tv shows Corinne is the name given to stupid or naive women .... that doesn’t reflect the reality !!! 😂
So I had this book full of “Corinne” and decided that it would be my next subject for my next painting , I’ve cut all the sentences of the book ( sorry book, RIP) when the subject was Corinne : it’s the white pieces of paper that you can see ... then I will fill and cover the gold acrylic with only hearts... to be continued....

@corinnec merci Corinne je ne connaissais pas cette acception du nom Corinne , mon père m’avait dit ( je n’ai jamais trouvé la preuve) que cela venait de “Korin” une muse de la poésie sous l’antiquité grecque ... les deux sens me vont ;)
