Yesterday I drove from south of France to Switzerland (750km) leaving my parents after three weeks to be with my husband and preparing the house for Christmas as my daughters are flying back home from Barcelona (Léa) and London (Alix) very soon.
My sister and her family will spend the Christmas holidays with my parents this year.
So today after the cleaning/cooking/washing... my husband and I have decided to go downtown Basel, we are lucky, shops are open, and the restaurants are doing take away meals.
We bought some stuff and eat on a bench, it was quite cold but I enjoyed my meal with my husband ;)
I found a purple pullover for Léa for Christmas.
Then we’ve walked in town, so happy to see people , with mask of course, but not crowded , police were very present in the streets to remind the anti covid rules.
I’ve taken photo of the day in front of a shop selling Christmas biscuits.
Then back home and diner with friends : 4 people ( 5 is the maximum in Switzerland for diner with friends or family ).
J’adore ce genre de magasins ou l’on peut observer les pâtissiers (ou autre). Cette photo me rappelle les œuvres de Norman Rockwell. En prime nous pouvons admirer le superbe château en pain d’épice.
