This year , like last year, the Basler Fasnacht ( our carnival) was canceled due to Covid, but people threw some confetti in the street and let some decorations too. Just to have a little taste of it ....
@randystreat exactly Kathy, people of Basel are very sad, their carnival is the oldest of all Switzerland and famous in Europe , some Swiss friends of mine use to tell me that they celebrate and love Fasnacht more than Christmas !
