Interesting look at the colored pencils. I like the texture of the "bottom"drop (not exactly a backdrop is it). The lomography-style lighting.

@koalagardens Here in Canada, we call them Pencil Crayons! It's kind of funny-- it's theorized that it comes from the French "crayons de couleur" which would actually translate more closely to Coloured Pencils like they seem to be called in most places... And yet, they're Pencil Crayons here 🤷‍♀️ lol

Same here - I know them as you said, Jessica - pencil crayons. And I believe you’re onto something with that French thing, as a crayon in French is a pencil. At least, here it is 🙃

The other slippery type wrapped in paper I know as wax crayons.
