Charleston has two notable and very large mansions, both built in the late 1800s. One is the Calhoun Mansion, which I need to tour, and the building above is the Wentworth Mansion Hotel, voted by Travel + Leisure Magazine readers as the No. 1 small-city hotel in the country. It's an amazing structure, fascinating to look at, but hard to photograph in its entirety given the utility wires which surround it. But here it is, in its opulent glory. It's a bit out of my price range. lol

What a fantastic photo, John. I love the colors and detail that you captured. What a gorgeous building. Nice that it has been preserved so well. As for the utility lines, not to worry as they are part of so many photos. I bet this place is grand in person.
