That is a beauty, John! We were surprised when we found Crape Myrtles up here in Oregon but they look like they have been recently planted; young trees. Maybe they have engineered some to survive the cold winters here. Or maybe it doesn't get that cold up here? Who knows; but I enjoy them very much. They have to be a favorite if you are in the south for very long!
