Golden afternoon light at Magnolia Gardens, Charleston, SC
This is a favorite spot at Magnolia Gardens. The path leads from the plantation house to the Ashley River, passing several huge live oaks and ancient azaleas. In spring the blooms are quite a joy to behold, but any time of year, this is a magical place.
