This is my favorite time of year to take pictures at Magnolia Gardens. The azaleas are coming into full bloom, the air is cool and the late afternoon sunlight is perfect. I go there as often as I can.

I love Charleston. We visited there twice, spending some time on Kiawah Island. I can't wait until we finally have green and colors return to New England.
Remember when you could buy a pass just for the Swamp Gardens? The last time I went you had to pay for the whole plantation in order to get into the Swamp. I loved going there very early and taking pictures. Did you visit on this trip?
