These are the first varieties of camellias to bloom each Fall and winter in Charleston. For the next couple of months we will be treated to the colorful display of these flowers. In winter, other varieties of this camellia will start blooming. A sensory delight.

@eyesmile The flooding is over but rivers are still very high. Flood damage depended on how close people were to the rivers and high near they were to low lying area affected by extraordinarily high tides.
