Azaleas are in full bloom now in our area of South Carolina along the coast, and I love to photograph this beautiful flower. One of the special things about them is the near translucence of the petals so that when they are backlit by sunlight, the light comes through the flowers and illuminates them as shown in my three photo postings for today.
