Middleton Place Plantation and Gardens, Charleston, SC
Spring is so beautiful here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Our gardens and parks are filled with the brilliant flowering blooms of azaleas. I spent a couple of days recently walking the paths at both Magnolia Gardens and Middleton Place, four miles apart along the Ashley River near Charleston, and felt like I was completely immersed in a land of enchantment. It is difficult even selecting photos that do the experience justice out of the hundreds I took. I will be sharing what I consider the best of them over the next few days as well as pictures from our magnificent urban oasis, Hampton Park.
