The first sunny day in over a week saw us take ourselves and the scooters down to the waterfront..... along with eleventy billion other people with the same idea.
@girlie Funnily enough, there were heaps of other people there ... one of which was a father that gave me the evil eye for using my camera in the playground ... so I made sure that the photos only included MY kids.

I should also point out that the "sandy beach" is actually only a little sand and largely silty, sandy mud which is less than pleasant to frolic in .... hence the lack of people on the "beach". The park at the waterfront attracts heaps of people every day as there are great playgrounds and a huge tidal pool, and a cycle path stretched along about 5 km.
