When the deck was being built, I considered buying a retractable clothes line for those rainy-wash-days. ... but a bit more thought gave me the idea of using another stainless steel cable (like the ones that make up the railings) at a height sufficient to accommodate my jeans. It works wonderfully as a clothes line, but is completely unobtrusive when not in use. WIN!
