This photo wasn't taken today and it wasn't taken by me. It was taken by one of Greg's workmates on October 27, 2008 ... but today was the day that workmate found the photo and sent a copy to me.
When a loved-one dies, you quickly learn that there are only a finite amount of photos of that person. Their likeness only captured so many times in so many places.
So each time some thoughtful person sends on a photo you've never seen, it's greater gift than they will ever know.
Take lots of photos of special people in your life. Take funny shots and portraits. Never delete them. and make sure that YOU are in photos and not always behind the camera....
glad the shot was found for you... I think that shot's taken by others also help round out the memories because you get more of the person's time (ie the time they weren't with you but at work etc).
@bobfoto mac? I imagine there's a list of code for that too. I admit that most of the ones I use are for science purposes ... °C being one of the main ones.
@bobfoto HA - only just saw your last comment on my ipod ... the apple symbol just appears as a boring old square on my laptop ... must only show up on macs :)
Couldn't of said it better myself. So very true... seeing that I have been in a similar situation - it really makes you realize how special photos can be. Keep it up!
@brizmako it was such a gift to receive this today
@netkonnexion I tell my truth
