Thanks everyone - this photo made the popular page on March 1, 2012 thanks to your kind comments and favs.
I can't tell you how warm it made me feel today to come to 365 and see this on the popular page today - a day the kids and I have spent together, mourning the loss of my husband / their father.

Interesting to see your Golden Penda has started to flower.... mine always has a dress rehearsal around New Year and then does the full on bloom later in March. None nothing this year. @definitelydeb thank you so much for the fav @bobfoto perhaps its all the rain we have had, but all the local trees are out in bloom - some are just covered in giant yellow pom-poms. ....and that's a great cockroach shot of yours. @beachradish thank you - I cropped more of the plant out so it was a bit more balanced than the original. @loragill I seem to be on a roll this week - 3 PP in one week has my head spinning (though not expanding - I know I have much more to learn).
