A shot from the Manly Halloween street festival. I actually think its kind of sad that this has replaced the traditional Spring Parade festival as our local "show".
I don't really "do" halloween as the idea of children asking for lollies from strangers doesn't sit well with me at all.
But ... I guess this is the "new" local show and its this or nothing.

Yes I agree with you. I can't understand why we have to adopt the festivals of another country. We don't do halloween either. But this is a wonderfully colour capture.
The Spring Festival would be more appropriate if we had to do away with the parade. These clowns look like they have had a fresh coat of paint. Very tempting!
