Sneaky shot taken in the local library. I wasn't quite game enough to do more than snap off a really quick shot off the hip. I took more on my phone though - much easier to pretend you are just checking facebook that way.....
@pizzaboy heh - secret stealing. Actually, Greg was taking photos of a steam train out at the Port a few years ago and security was there within minutes demanding to know what we were doing and informed us that even though we were on the side of a seemingly-public road, we couldn't take photos there. When he understood that it was the train we were interested in he said that if we were quick when he turned his back, it would be OK ... he had to turn his back because we were all on CCTV and he could later claim we took the photos without his knowledge.
Nice library shot! I don't know where you live, but where I live no one would mind if you took photos in the library - we'd be thrilled you found it photo-worthy (I'm a librarian, you can trust me on this). :)
@corymbia I've been busted shooting on a train station before; we were doing video stuff at night with tripods, microphones, wireless gear, they really got upset and said they had to phone someone. We quietly walked off to the car and drove away, lesson learnt.
