I have great memories of climbing up Great Gable. Scary moments getting through The Needle up there, eating sandwiches in the heavy fog right next to a sheep on the summit but not noticing it until it baa-ed! Then screeing my way down via Base Brown, catching my ankle, rolling over and landing in a stream unharmed and saying to my hiking companion "is my camera alright?" She slapped me round the head!
