Oh no! I feel your pain - I struggle with this too. The sausages look fine. I would have picked them out, fried an egg and made a scrummy sarnie :)

Oh how strange...I’m sure you know how to cook Yorkshire pudding so perhaps it’s the flour...could you have used SR instead of plain....plain is hard to get hold of...it actually looks really nice...a but crispy!

Have you made it before to this recipe? Different oil? Different oven? Different temp?

Plain flour, egg and milk. Heat pan with fat in before putting mixture in. Don’t open the oven door too often. This looks like too much flour to me. Still a good photo though and looking at it makes me feel hungry at 11.38pm!

@gaf005 I weighed everything, on the success photo I weighed everything, eggs, flour and milk all 3oz. Oven thermometer purchased 30-40c under temperature (should you not be in bed at 11.38?!)
