Today was back to normal.... Did some shopping for Lexi and Layla's birthday. Today Lexi is 9 and Wednesday Layla will be 10. For 2 days they are the same age. Tonight we went to Emilie's first Volleyball game with this team. They played so well. they won 2 out of 3 games.
This is the first year I have seen so many gold finches at our house. You probably will see more of these guys this spring/summer.

I have too many trees around and they can climb down. I buy my feeders under the advice of Birds Unlimited Store and have had no problems. BUt my mother always had a problem back in her day. I believe what you have is a baffle and that doesn't work if they can drop from above from a tree or the house. Which they can do in my yard. Watch my project for the pictures of my flowering crab. But I always envy pople who can use these type makes for great photos. The birds hide on the backside of my feeder sometimes. LOL
