This is a painting that is very dear to Mike.
Mike and Jim had gone out on the bay fishing and Jim came back very excited about a picture he had taken. The Lady Washington with the setting sun behind it. When they got home he cleaned up and drove his film to Fred Meyer to have it developed. Once there he found out the film had never advanced and it was blank. Jim and Mike both were disappointed and said they would get a picture the following year. Well as you know Jim disappeared in those very waters and never had the chance.
A few months later Mike bought some raffle tickets and won this painting. He felt it was a gift from Jim.
