Our Cat Meow who lived outside on his own for the last 6 years has died. A family down the road had abandoned him and our neighbors and us have fed and loved him since. We have cougars, coyotes and raccoons that have attacked and killed other animals here but Meow has survived it all. It is our guess that he lived a long life. We had a small funeral tonight for him with some prayers and sherry.
On a happy note today is Auri's 8th birthday. We went to the skating rink and skated for 3 hours. That much skating didn't help my shin splints. I need to go to work to rest my body.

I'm sorry for you loss of Meow but I suspect he would have approved of this memorial shot and the tip of sherry to him. It's hard loving animals but worth it. Happy 8th to Auri and you get to work and get some rest '-)
