hadn't found anything for a photo today until our dog alerted us to this little girl (I think) ambling across our front garden. By the time I raced to get my camera she was looking for a way up to the favourite gum tree. First she climbed up a big bushy shrub to reach across to the gum. She then had quite a bit of difficulty hanging on as the tree was shedding large pieces of bark. However, she made it and after a nice feed of fresh new gum leaves she settled in for a nap.
PS in such a rush must have put my fingers all over the filter, hence the blur
A great collage of beautiful shot`s.

@koalagardens this is one of our little visitors. Got a good look at her chest and couldnt see any sign of a scent gland but she refused to give me a good look at her nose to see if I could recognise her
She made it and you got some great images of her. it so amazing for us to know you see this in your own garden. I was thrilled at one time to see a duck trying to nest in our garden. we're 5 houses away from a lake.
One of the reasons we love them. Our country is build with/on it. The base ( in the old times) of our dikes are made of plaiting mats of the branches. Sink them by putting stone`s on it and the make the dike of clay.
Oh Chris, I'd have been so excited, I'd have smudged the filter, too, in my rush! You're forgiven, and we all share in the excitement of having your very on Koala!!!
