Oooh that feels lovely

great activity in a local department store today where "children" could pat a snake, a ferret, a rabbit or this baby Freshwater Crocodile. They are found in the north of Australia and grow to about 3 meters.

g-ulp!!!! Did you say 3 meters? Yikes! No crocodile tears for this baby!

Wow! This is a great opportunity for the boy. The croc looks sleepy - has he been sedated? Wonderful shot.

@lilminimonka @joemuli @deu49097 @golder365mjsmith @sangwann
thanks all for your comments. The little croc was just "grinning and bearing it" as they say. No Dione he wasnt sedated and we were warned not to put our fingers near his mouth. His little teeth were like needles and would have probably shredded your finger! I think he was just keeping his eyes shut till it was all over.

Wow, how cool is this he looks like he is 90% teeth.

That's going to be one big Crocodile when he grows up. I bet nobody would want to pat him then. Nice shot.

@padders thanks Luke. Very cute while he's a baby but I've seen some big ones in north Queensland and they are very scary

There's a place like that around here, too. We always take the grandchildren. Cool candid shot and that croc looks quite gentle.

That's Gharial and they love fishes, that snout is designed for it. Brave lil girl holding it I'm too scared even to touch it with a pole.
