watch what you're doing

this was the process of raising one of the ship's tenders (lifeboats) back into place after being used to transport passengers from the ship, anchored in the bay, to the island. You can see at the top of the picture another of the lifeboats hanging over the promenade.
Love such scenes of life on the ship. When my uncle worked in the Navy I used to visit the ships and dockyards. This brought back memories for me.

@anjalikoli I love it too. We could have gone for a tour of the ship but it cost $175 so too expensive for me. My dad was in the Merchant Navy and when we were on another cruise that sailed into Mumbai I thought of how he would have done the same thing

@cruiser Yeah sounds expensive. Good to know about your Dad, that's why you love cruises I guess.
