.......towards Truro city. If you look carefully you can just make out the spires, of the cathedral in the distance. Truro was once a very busy port and harbour, with ships going right into the city centre. Unfortunately it silted up, it is a tidal river but even at high tide the ships could not get in. The buildings of the left of the pic once once warehouses and chandlers, long gone now with offices and apartments on the waterside. There is still some activity further along the waterside, but only for much smaller ships and boats.
