Low tide.

Looking across the Fal River which is a tidal estuary. Truro was a major port back in the day, but the gradual silting up of the estuary and the eventual paving over and building on Lemon Quay completely finished it off ! Rivers are all still there, they just run underground now. Thank you for your kind comments on yesterday's pic and for putting it on the TP :)
