...our train back from our recent visit to London was overcrowded, hot, noisy and people were sitting on their cases and standing in all the carriages and doorways.....in consequence the drink/food trolley could not circulate and even where it stood at the (other) end of he train (to us) it was far difficult to get to because of the people........fortunately we had some red wine and glasses in our backpack so all was not lost !
@happypat Usually they are OK....run reasonably on time and if you book your seat in advance all is well.......but it only takes an incident on a well used line to delay everything and them trains and drivers are all in the wrong places....much like the airports.....
