A house down the road from us has this Big Foot sculpture lit up in front of their house. Thought it would give me a subject matter which isn't to serious.

Umm. Oh my. But this could offer lots of possibilities for playing with POV by getting super low and looking up, etc. and I think you won’t be injured. Of course your neighbors might wonder what on earth you are doing on the ground but hey it’s a photo opp.
