Better Late Than Never

This is the desk which I built for my wife. It is in our kitchen and can be hidden by the slide away doors which you can see on each side. I built this out of cherry wood which I had cut off our property to make room for our house. She has been waiting 4 years for it, thus the title.
Such lovely work - I'm sure she is thrilled!

It's a wonderful thing you've made for your wife! As for the photo, I wonder if you might want to straighten the lines. I'm not sure if you do "transform" on LR you would lose too much on the bottom, The good news is that if you do, then you could retake the photo and bend your knees so you take it from a lower angle -- or get more territory you can afford to lose in a transform?

@jyokota, thank you for your input. I really appreciate constructive criticism. That is what I most want to get out of this project. I will try some of your suggestions. I was limited to some extent what I could do because of lack of room to back up. I used my 11-16 lens to help with this, but couldn't do more. Thanks again for being honest with me.

@cwbill -- I agree -- and appreciate it when people candidly express an idea I might have not considered or make an improvement I might have otherwise overlooked. But the truth is that I have been going through some old photos I took Year One of 365 when I didn't realize my blind eye was making me take crooked photos so upon straightening them, I lost the composition I thought I was getting. Now, I compensate by taking a larger image than I ultimately want, and then straightening without losing too much of what I had hoped to capture. That is a vague explanation. No, a ramble. Sorry.
