I Took A Wrong Turn

This is the famous Painted Bunting which found it's way to my home town of Sugarcreek, Ohio. Very few of these southern birds have ever been seen in Ohio, but especially not during the winter. It has been in Sugarcreek for over a week. I was worried that I wouldn't get to see it but as luck would have it after 3 trips to the sight I finally got to see this beauty. Hope it survives this winter and finds it's way back home.
Now that is a shot of color!

Excellent shot of a beautiful bird. I think it can be very small if it looks so small despite the 600mm focal length lens.
