I photographed this female big horned sheep a few years ago in Glacier NP. We were there at the very end of September. I had my 300mm fixed lens on with a 1.4 teleconverter on my 1.4 crop camera when this sheep started to walk down the road toward me. It got so close that this was all I could get. I think it knew that the closeup on it's eye was better than a whole body shot. It shows some of the limitation of a fixed lens.
