I spent about 1 1/2 hours at the Lakefront Nature Preserve today while in Cleveland. I went there to try to find a Northern Saw-whet Owl which had been seen there the past few days. I was able to locate the owl with help of a helpful birder but couldn't get a decent shot of it so I had to settle with much more common birds.
Great photo of this little guy! I’ve been out a few times looking for the saw-whet owl, too, with no luck. I did hear them, though! Next time! (For both of us).
