Today was the first time we have ever seen an Evening Grosbeak at our house. Most years they don't migrate this far south, but this appears to be an irruption year. They usually travel in flocks. Today a flock of about 8 birds showed up at our feeders. This shot was taken through a window so not the greatest quality, but I am so excited to have seen them.
