Walking to town I saw this cd lying abandoned on the pavement, looking rather the worse for wear.
I wonder how it got there - was it dropped or thrown away? Did it contain music or photographs?
I could have turned it over, but I chose not to. I wanted it to keep it's secrets, maintain an air of mystery.
When I returned it had gone! Did the owner come back and retrieve it, did someone else pick it up in an attempt to satisfy their curiosity, or has it been flung somewhere?
it could have contained songs special to a broken relationship, perhaps the persons tastes have changed, or maybe it was a cheap disposable cd, unwanted.
It made me wonder, what music would you happily never hear again?
