Visited Webbs garden centre this afternoon to buy some perennials. We usually begin by wandering around the display gardens. but we had to beat a hasty retreat when, after several menacing rumbles, the heavens opened. We chose some plants and cards (Webbs sells a lot more than horticultural items!) and then even indoor shopping became difficult, due to the rain & hail beating down on the roof! At this point there was a general exodus to the car park, and ever contrary the skies brightened once more! March winds may have been notable by their absence, but April showers are certainly keeping us on our toes....
