Positively Negative

Visited Lacock Abbey today,
a great place to take one's camera.
This Oriel window featured on the world's first
photographic negative taken in 1835, by Talbot
using a camera obscura, nicknamed 'the mousetrap'
by his wife, Constance.
A replica of 'the mousetrap' is displayed on the table.
Great title - who would have thought it - the first photo negative - how interesting!
