A quick church hunt today,
returning to the small church of Weethley,
on the warwickshire/Worcestershire border. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weethley.
The church stands on the edge of the Vale of Evesham and has commanding views over the surrounding farmland.
The church is normally locked,
but the person mowing the grass, just happened to have a key.....
I loved the symmetry of the wooden beams in the roof.
Feature stone flowers adorning the archway,
painted with emulsion, are an unusual feature.
It is a lovely small church.
Having wandered round the outside on a previous visit,
it was very rewarding to be able to see what is inside.
