Having sent the last few years holidaying in more rural areas,
the whole concept of seaside illuminations had escaped my daughter!
Upon spotting the lights,
she was delighted to see that Cromer took Christmas
as seriously as she did!
Not as dramatic sunset as the night before,
but the tiny dolphin-shaped cloud,
echoing the shape of the illumination,
helped this one to make the final cut.
Today we put the awning up,
explored the woodland adjacent to the campsite,
then spent the afternoon on the beach at Cromer,
after lugging our chairs down the long zigzag path from the car park.
After a quick coffee at the cafe on the pier
we headed of to Sunday @ Seven at Cromer Parish Church,
for an upbeat visitor-friendly service,
which included the Commissioning of the Scripture Union beach Mission Team,
and a Sermon on Psalm 23, (I think)
from a wonderful old gent
who, as a lad, was invited to do his first ever talk
at a Beach Mission in 1949!!!
And that was the second day....
Nice one,
